What should the customer know about your pricing?
We are super competitive within the photography market for pricing. We will never overcharge for a shoot.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When we make contact about your needs we will first assess what style you are looking for, how long you will need us for, and when you will need our services.
Then we will move on to scheduling and pricing. We take a 50% deposit to get you on the schedule via PayPal and once paid we send you a confirmation email with your time, date, and location for the shoot via email.
We will complete the shoot and then edit the photos. Upon completing the last payment we will send you your photos with an invoice and copyright receipt. Feel free to reach out any time and we will be happy to help get the ball rolling.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
After showcasing my work I received requests for jobs in multiple styles of photography. Each customer requiring a different set of skills. After developing these skills I decided to start a business.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended the Dallas Art Institute specializing in digital photography.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
My last project was a photo shoot with a new model. We picked out the wardrobe and had the hair and makeup professionally done before the shoot. We scouted locations and we made sure to pick the best atmosphere. The whole process took two days. The results were fantastic! Look at the photo labeled Allie for the results.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Always look for quality and consistency. Finding a photographer that is trustworthy and fun can make every shoot a good shoot. Not everyone has experience in front of a camera so your photographer should be able to walk you through the process to make sure the shoot is successful.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Think about what you will need to have once the shoot is over. Then think about your available budget. Most photographers are hired for their creative expertise. So if you pick the right photographer they should be able to do the creative heavy lifting.
